Teaching from a Christian perspective is an important, multifaceted and complex theme, especially when we think of subject matter and pedagogy . In this book  therefore Dr. Ir. Piet Murre approaches the theme from different angles. The book consists of two main parts. The first part is conceptual. The second part contains seven design principles, and ends with an example of a lesson.

‘Less is more’ is the inaugural lecture delivered by dr.ir. Piet Murre on April 11th, 2019, when he was officially installed as a professor of education (Dutch: ‘lector’) in school subjects and pedagogy at Driestar Christian University in Gouda, The Netherlands. Since 2017 he participates in the Research Centre of this university. Practice oriented research at Driestar focusses on Christian teaching and seeks to be of service to schools from primary education up till higher education
